We don't know what the hell's there, but they are weird, whatever they are. In 6 hours it will be 100° below in here. Whether we make it or not, we can't let those Things freeze again in the basement. Maybe we'll just warm them up a little. We're not gettin' outta here alive. But neither are those Things.
A new chilling expansion has reached the basement, and not everyone is who seems to be. Trusting appearances can be dangerous, paranoia and fear can lead to disastrous consequences. Sacrifice is sometimes necessary. Decision making, a sense of leadership, collaboration and teamwork and sometimes a bit of deception and manipulation : these are all qualities that are needed in order to survive the new disgusting creatures that have entered the basement and are slowly taking over its inhabitants. Don't let them overwhelm you and consume you. And watch your back for anything unusual: i know i'm human, but what about you?
Now i'll show you what i already know:
- A new character: R.J Macready. Great pilot, researcher, survivor of the outpost 31. He's reached its way into the basement, following these things in order to stop them, burning them to the ground once and for all;
- 3 new items to protect yourself;
- 3 new loots in order to see which of us is still human;
- Many new disgusting "Things": they appear as familiar faces, but they hide behind a disturbing imitation. Maybe with their end we'll find something valuable to honor the originals;
- Many voting mechanics: sometimes, making the hardest choices is what makes us survive;
- 3 new events: a storm, a curse and a chance to welcome something anew;
- A new room: with the storm approaching, memories of the outpost seem to take living form.
Are you ready to survive the new mysterious Things that have infested the basement? Or will you join them and let it win?
This pack was inspired by The Thing by John Carpenter, one of my favorite horror movies.
